Our story

Opened in 1969 by Vahan and Helen Ohanian, Generales & Generales Fine Jewelers has been serving the Toluca Lake community for over 50 years. Operating out of the same location (that was purchased from the Three Stooges!), Vahan and Helen's daughter, Sylvia and her husband Peter Generales, are second generation owners of this mom and pop shop.

Our mission statement is simple. Since 1969, our family owned business has been providing fine custom made jewelry with reliable and courteous service. Our services include jewelry repair, watch repair and appraisal service. We are committed to adhering to the highest standards of quality and integrity, as we are members of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), American Gem Trade Association (AGTA), Jewelers Board of Trade (JBT), Jewelers of America (JA), and the Jewelers Vigilance Committee (JVC).
